O jogo terá a opção de importar músicas de outras versões como: “Guitar hero 5”, “Smash hits” e “Band hero”, também serão compatíveis as canções adquiridas por meio de download.
O game que chega às lojas dos EUA no dia 28 de setembro, será lançado para os consoles Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 e Wii.
